I bought this belt from Alpine Trek, and it was missing half the buckle, so was completely useless. I returned it for a refund, however, I was refunded £3.99 less than I paid. Presumably this was the cost of postage in one direction or another.
I had previously left a negative review on this basis- but as you can see below the postage was refunded, and this was an oversight on the part of alpinetrek so I have amended my review accordingly.
As for the belt itself- I know AustriAlpine buckles are good from previous experience. The belt itself looks less strong than a webbing belt, but if you want a softer belt with the strength of the AustriAlpine cobra buckle I think this would be a good choice.
