Cookies activation guide

You will have to accept cookies to be able to place an order on Bergfreunde.eu. We have put together a "How to" guide for a variety of popular browsers. Please remember that the names of options may vary slightly depending on the operating system.

Mozilla Firefox
  1. Open "Settings/Settings" (or "Extras/Settings")
  2. open the "Privacy" tab
  3. under "Firefox will remember history:" select the option "according to user-defined settings"
  4. activate the options "Accept cookies" and "Accept third party cookies"
  5. click OK to confirm
Internet Explorer 7 and higher

At this point we can't resist recommending you install a safe and standard-compliant browser like Firefox or Chrome ;-).

  1. Select the menu option "Extras" and then "Internet Options"
  2. You will find the cookie settings in the tab "Privacy". The option "Medium" is selected by default and means that the browser does accept cookies.
  3. You can change this setting by simply moving the slider to the setting you want.

If the setting is "User-defined":

  1. click the button "Advanced"
  2. Click the radio button "Always allow session cookies"
Google Chrome
  1. Click the link "Show advanced settings ..." under "Settings"
  2. Click the button "Content Settings" under "Privacy"
  3. Activate the option "Allow saving data locally (recommended)"
  4. you may still have to remove the check mark next to "Third party cookies" and "Block website data"
  5. now check if Bergfreunde.eu is blocked under "Manage exceptions"
  6. Click OK at the bottom right to finish
Safari
  1. Call up the "Settings" menu
  2. Select the tab "Privacy" in the settings window
  3. Activate the option "Block cookies: Never"
Opera
  1. Call up the menu "Settings/Settings" (or "Extras/Settings")
  2. Click the tab "Advanced" and elect the item "Cookies"
  3. Activate the option "Accept cookies"
  4. Confirm the setting with "OK"
