I have used it on some summer trails
as a positive it didn't leak at all, and it is rather light weight.
on the negative side the insulation was not that good, so if this is a must feature I would not select it. Also once the water inside started warming up I could taste plastic.
Could work better in keeping water from freezing in the winter time but I have not tested it in such conditions yet.
