Disadvantages
This is what other customers say:
Pinched slightly on one foot on the first wear, but quickly gave and now totally comfortable. Useful changeable insole. Robust, not too heavyweight, waterproof, comfortable. A good buy!
Can't give a performance review as they were too small. Had to return (largest size). Anyone buying needs to go up 1/2 size. They would be an excellent lightweight mountaineering boot if they fit! NB there is no consistency with sizing ..even with the same manufacturer. This is universally true. The only way to know is to try them on.

I am out in the Mountains of North Wales 3 or 4 times a week. Have used many different types and makes of boots over the the year and they're are the best and most comfortable by far.

Hey Moman,
I's say even with thick (woolen) socks, that's "pushing it" - the boots have no thermal insulation as such. So if you're not too sensitive against cold, it could work, but let's say they're not built for that...
Pesonally, I would opt for something warmer.
Best regards,
Max
thank you !
