Lightweight and technical avalanche backpack for women

The Avabag LiTRIC Tour 28S from Ortovox is an airbag backpack developed for women. The ski touring backpack has a significantly shorter back system than the regular backpacks and its shoulder and hip straps are specially adapted to the female anatomy.

It’s both lightweight and stable. Designed for versatility, it has all the necessary attachment options, as well as a separate safety compartment for emergency equipment, and is extremely comfortable for long climbs.

Safe and reliable electronic release system

The 2022 ISPO Award-winning LiTRIC Airbag System is extremely light and easy to use. With its multiple release ability, it offers maximum safety on tour. The airbag can be triggered in any situation by using the rotary handle. The design of the handle prevents it from getting triggered by accident, e.g. by getting caught onto something. Thanks to the electronic LiTRIC system, the airbag can be easily recharged with a USB-C cable. One charge lasts approximately 60 hours with the battery switched on, so there is no need to recharge it even on multi-day tours.

Various combinations possible thanks to the modular system

Ski tourers love versatility: from freeriding on one day and doing a multi-day ski traverse the next week to doing a quick workout on the local mountain in the morning. The LiTRIC backpacks can be used for all sorts of activities. Once the base is selected, all the backpacks in the TOUR and FREERIDE lines of the same back length can be zipped on.

Info on the LiTRIC modular system:

The bag is zipped onto the LiTRIC Avabag base (Freeride or Tour line) with a nearly invisible zip. This lets you get several avalanche airbags at a reasonable price. You can easily change the bag depending on the length of the tour.

The Avabag LiTRIC Freeride and Tour lines differ mainly in their carrying systems: for descents in rough terrain, the Clasp Back of the Freeride line ensures a good body contact. The lightweight Full Contact Light Back System of the Tour line offers comfort on long tours.

Both back units are available in two different lengths each. No matter which base you choose, all LiTRIC bags of the same back length can be mounted thanks to the modular system.
