Suitable for high altitudes?

Dear Reader,
I am looking to climb Mount Elbrus next year. Are the MAMMUT - Base Jump So Touring Pants suitable for this type of adventure?

Hi Wouter, Elbrus can be quite cold no matter what time of year but these would be a great starting point and adding to them with leggings and over trousers if an when necessary.
