they look stiff and narrow in the pictures(

Hi Liza,

For 5000m + I would be looking for more insulation and perhaps something like the La Sportiva G-Summit.
Much depends on exactly what you're needs and intentions are though.
Note: any boot in this category will be stiff as otherwise they will not be able to support a crampon. Narrow ? La Sportiva tend to come up fairly regular.

Question from Tamar

Would you go in these to mountains like Mont Blanc?

Can you trek in these?

Hi Tamar, If the fit is right, those would be ideal for a Mount Blanc summit but they will be too stiff for trekking.

Hi there ,
Looking to purchase also for mt.blanc ~ is there a boot that is suitable for summit and trekking ?
Would this shoe be graded as a b2 or b3 type boot?
Thanks
Treasa

Have a look at the Scarpa Women's Mont Blanc Pro. Those would be ideal.

Hello Albana,

you can use the boots in summer, but this is a fully crampon compatible boot, so you would need Step-In/Automatic crampons.

Kind regards,

Marco
