The coat is absolutely true to size, easy to adjust, looks great and has a thick wooly fleece lining. I farm in the mountains in Ireland, where it's cold and wet, and my dog is outside for most of the day. This is the perfect jacket for cold and dry or slightly rainy days. It looks very well made and as it has buckles rather than velcro, should last a lifetime.
I'll be buying another for my smaller dog, too.

We plan to buy this coat but not 100% sure how to measure my dog. We have Labrador and not sure about size. Could you please help me (picture how to measure)?

Measure from the bony bump on the back of your dog's neck to the start of the tail. I usually measure to the very base of the tail muscle - about an inch shorter than where the tail separates from the body. If you do this, the sizing for this jacket will be exact: I have one 45 inch dog, and one 35 inch dog, and the 45 and 35 hunter jackets fit them both perfectly.
