Oversized parka as it must be
A Traditional good parka. Longer than the standard one, but is perfect for late autumn. Runs oversized so seriously take one size smaller than you take.

Sizing needs to be accurate
I have 2 Didrikson Jackets/coats and I am 100% happy with them (Hanni)
I read all the reviews ahead of ordering the Alicia Parka 2 so I was aware that it is oversized.I was not prepared however for the fact that it is actually enormous and fits like a 44 and not a 38 which is my usual size.
Tightening the elastic waistband makes the coat appear even larger as the area below the waist becomes voluminous and creates an image of wearing a tent. Because the sizing is so strange, I will have to return the coat and look for a refund, instead of reordering in a different size because I genuinely would not know what size would be the correct one. It is disappointing as I really wanted a good waterproof coat that would be warm also. After my 2 wonderful Hannis, I am also surprised that the Alicia Parka 2 is not equally wonderful. I chose the Green colour and it is exactly as shown in the images. All the usual positive Didrikson features are there.It is a shame about the sizing and the cut.There is far too much material in the "skirt" area of the coat. It is very lightweight and could have been perfect.

This coat is oversized but I like that about it. It has so far protected me from the wet weather here in Ireland, and is warm without being overbearing. I really like the length too, as I'm 5'7" and it's long enough to keep my legs warm. I mostly wear it for walking my dog but also in the town too.

I m between two sizes 46 and 48. My height is 175 and weight 83. I m not sure about hips width. With guide measurements, my size is 48 but everyone says one size smaller in this model. Im confused.

No manufatcure will be specific as to what temperatures a coat will be suitable for because of the many variables which effect how we as individuals feel the cold.
This coat has a fill weight of 140 g/m² which I would think would be somewhat lacking for your needs. A fill weight of 200- 300 g/m² would be a much better choice.
I’m a uk 12 pretty standard. Coat was lovely but the 38 was huge and too long I’m the arms. Exchange looks very straightforward and free so buying a 36 instead. I used the alpine trek measurement checker as well which recommended a 38
