Hi Ruta,
The following is some feedback from recent test by Alpin.de.
The Croda has a wide forefoot and is therefore very comfortable. This goes well with the round rolling process. In the test field it is the gaiter mountain boot with the “smallest” gaiter. It's more of a cover for the lacing. The latter is in two parts and works as simply as it does well. With one you can lace the entire shoe, with the second you can (optionally) tighten the forefoot separately, for example for climbing. The shaft is also equipped with a small gaiter at the top.
Conclusion
All-round mountain boots that can be used for high altitude tours as well as for demanding hikes.
Two-piece lacing, very comfortable, good cushioning.
