I've been using this jacket since 2018 and it is my all time to-go item for both outdoor activities and going out for groceries. I had the chance to test it under incredibly heavy rain and I had no single drop wetness inside the jacket - apart from sweating. It is labelled "Dryvent" but I feel zero ventilation. If the temperature is above 15 celcius degrees, it already starts getting too warm and you sweat like hell in this jacket. But in cold weather, it's your best friend. For winter hikings in below zero degrees I wear a fleece pullover and a light softshell jacket under this one and I stay warm and dry. It is also VERY light and can fit even in the smallest pockets of a regular backpack. As for the size, I am an XS person - 160 cm tall and 52 kg - but even the XS size of this jacket looks too big. So I'm not really happy with it for its cut but for its functionality.

Hi Nikol,
Unfortunately, that colour is now discontinued and no longer available.
Thank you. Will you bring it in another colors? Like red or yellow..
Unfortunately, no brighter colours like red or yellow are available from TNF this season.
Hello,
I am trying to come up with a layering system for my first mountaineering/glacier walking course in the alps. Would this jacket work nicely in combination with the Patagonia Nano Air for example ?
Hey Elise,
generally speaking yes, the combination with the Nano Air would work well.
For mountaineering we would recommend a more "technical" jacket, though. That means e.g. one where the pockets are placed higher, lest they interfere with the harness and ideally one that has three layers instead of two.
Best regards,
Max
Hey Max,
That is extremely helpful! Would you have recommendations for such "technical" jacket ?
Hey Elise,
glad to hear that. :)
