Reviews overview
This is what other customers say:
I ordered this, because Scarpa mescalito was too soft - the sole was not OK when walking in mountains with camera. I like lightweight shoes without membrane.
At the beginning, shoes was too stiff. But after several walkings, they fit my leg. Very stable, excellent grip => safe shoes for variety of activities. Absence of membrane help breathe well. Well engineerted and made shoes!

These shoes are very stiff - which is good for support, however I had to go half a size up as there was absolutely room or give in the toe area and my feet started to go numb after about 20mins of wearing. The bigger size is definitely more comfortable.
Also the tongue on them is odd - there is some very stiff leather with a sharp edge right at the top of the tongue which ends up digging into the lower shin - it's not too noticeable with thick socks. I'm hoping the leather will soften. I haven't worn them on a long walk yet, so I hope they don't cause too much bother ...
But aside from those niggles, they are decent shoes ... I like the low boot style, as some higher boots can aggravate an old achilles injury. They look good on too!

These shoes have a quality build but may be a little stiff for some. If you want an approach shoe that provides great stability and works well on easy climbs then this is for you.
