it's super light and comfy. It is meant to break apart if you hit your head, but allegedly will do the job protecting your head. in some way, it is a disposable helmet :-)

I have used for ski touring and alpine rock climbing. It is very light and comfortable - my only minor gripe is I find the magnetic strap clip a little fiddly. It can be annoying in the cold. but all in all a very good helmet.
