Reviews overview
This is what other customers say:
I bought this in Raven Black with high expectations since this duffel bag ranked in the top 3 in almost every online review. It looks good, it feels good, but all it took was two rather serious high-alpine trips, and now it looks as if it has 10 years of usage behind it. The durability of the outer material is just not there. The outer layer is easy to peel off; it's so sensitive to scratches. The white underlayer has already appeared in several locations. Packing things is light; the design of the bag allows it. Easy to carry, easy to close. It's a good product, but it seems that they are not designed to last long or to be used in harsh conditions. For this price, who can afford to buy a new one every few trips? Therefore, only 4 stars.
Since I own them and I can compare, it's definitely a better choice than the TNF Base Camp Duffel.
Some time back, I owned an NGN duffle bag that cost 3x less, and it worked great, even providing better durability. All in all, duffel bags from high-end brands like Osprey and TNF are definitely not worth the money they charge. If found on some great deals and discounts, yes. Otherwise, go with the cheaper brands.
