If you need extra storage space, you can expand the backpack with a separately available zip-on backpack. In addition, Ortovox relies on its fully electronic LiTRIC airbag system for avalanche safety. This is lightweight and has a simple design. The height-adjustable deployment mechanism on the shoulder strap can be secured quickly and easily to prevent it from activating by accident.
