Lowa - Women's Alpine Expert II GTX - Mountaineering boots tested

I decided to get these as my North Face boots were not keeping out any water even though they were new. I needed something water-resistant with great grip and ankle support for hiking and mountain climbing.

I had never worn Lowa boots before so was a little hesitant at first but I read so many great reviews about their other products. I'm so glad I got these! They are without a doubt the best. They are surprisingly light and very comfortable, I never had any problems with blisters or other issues that can happen with new boots.

I've had them for four months now and have worn them countless times hiking, scrambling, and mountain climbing in Ireland, often in very wet conditions, and they kept my feet completely dry and I have never lost my grip. My feet are never sore even after wearing them for hours, day after day.
