Reviews overview
Praise vs. Criticism
Definitely not waterproof
Really comfortable shoes with bad Gore-Tex membrane. My third pair of Roclites from Inov-8.
But they should really start selling these without a membrane at all since it can't hold water out on a rainy day. Even morning dew in tall grass is a big problem for this pair of shoes.
Just don't get why they make such a great shoe with a bad Gore-Tex membrane and do not have the same shoe with just mesh upper sole.
I just returned from my daily run through the forest (it was raining) and I literally had to turn them upside down to let the water out.
Two stars ** only because they are really comfortable and have a great grip on rocky terrain.
Also on warm days (18°C +) membrane makes your feet really hot and after 30 minutes, your feet are also completely wet.
Buy these if you will use them in colder dry weather with a few drops of water here and there. Don't expect to have your feet dry after a shower storm or on a warm or hot day.
I think I will just buy La Sportiva Raptor next time since my friend today had completely dry feet after the same run.
- Advantages
- Comfortable
- Lightweight
- Good grip
- Stabilizes the foot
- Good For Running
- Disadvantages
- Not waterproof
- Too Hot on a Warm Day
- Only for Cold Dry Weather
- Recommended use
- Hiking
- Trekking
- Ultra-light
- Leisure
