Praise vs. Criticism
From everyday to the top of the mountain
I was looking for gloves that I could use in everyday life (or for photography) in windy and snowy weather. The glove fits this perfectly and the lining of the fleece is warm. It will probably stand out in the mountains as well!

not actually chrome free!
only the white color of this product is chrome free! all others are not!
i emailed hestra and they confirmed this! i also emailed them in question for the "natural waterproof coating" but they do not respond to this question, so take that whit a grain of salt.
i ended up giving these gloves to a family member who enjoys them greatly, and does not care about either. if you don't care about it being chrome free or if it really had a natural coating ,this product will serve you well. its good quality and comfortable however i am very disturbed by the lack of transparency from bergfreunde in this case about only 1 color being actually chrome free. and refusal to confirmation from hestra about this products water proof coating. if you are looking for something natural and chrome free this is not the product for you unless you don't mind the impregnation and get the white version.

Perhaps the best HESTRA gloves at the best price. Premium leather, with a wool inner lining that is removable and can be washed or replaced. Very good seams that do not bother the fingers. They have handcuff that fit around the wrists so you don't lose them when you take them off.

Absolutely love these gloves. Suitable for hillwalking, treckking, everyday use etc. Quality of materials and attention to detail is superb. I was a size 9 in circumference of hand and size 10 on measurement of middle index finger. I went with size 10 and the fit is perfect. Gloves also look amazing and you will stand out from the crowd.
