Exped - Vela I Extreme - 1-person tent

The Vela I Extreme from Exped is a very stable solo tent with a well-protected vestibule for demanding trekking or cycling! Its sophisticated mix of materials and highly efficient construction can withstand the high demands of even the most challenging tours. While the outer and inner tents are made from fine, lightweight yet very strong ripstop nylon, the groundsheet is made from coarser nylon for reliable protection against moisture, dirt and abrasion.

The versatile Vela 1-person tent is suitable for use in all climate zones and in all four seasons. There is plenty of space in the inner tent and in the large vestibule, which is sheltered from the elements on one side. The vestibule with its front zip access is cut in such a way that protects your backpack or luggage the elements and the entrance area remains free at the same time.

The Vela I solo tent can be set up in various ways for different weather and environmental conditions. The pole feet are designed for two different pole sets. The flysheet requires only one attachment, making it almost free-standing. It can be rolled up on both sides so that more light and fresh air can enter the tent as required. The door to the outer tent can be opened as a canopy. On cooler days, the inner tent can be closed for better insulation.
