Does the weight saving worth it?
Does the weight saving worth it? I am thinking about buying either the Petzl Vasak as a tried-and-true option or the Harfang Alpine Crampon as the innovative and light option. Do you think that the weight and space savings of the Blue Ice worth the uncertainty of the new design? Thanks
This is what customers from around the world say:
Greetings Patrik,
It always depends a little on what you need. I have a light crampon for ski tours or easy glacier tours and a second crampon for steep ice or firn.
Basically the crampons work well, it is an ideal balance of weight / grip, the balance depends on the tours you have in mind.
Best regards,
Carlos
