Can you please recommend other model from Altra, the same shape like Olympus 5 (large toe box), but breathable a bit (not summer/mesh, more for autumn/winter).. In these my feet get wet like I never experienced before, like in plastic bag:(
Moreover I bought also the midd version, the same size, but its a bit smaller (how comes) and my foot really feels it.
Thanks a lot!;)
Hi Michal, It's most likely the Gore-Tex lining which is causing your feet to sweat so much. We don't have another hiking style alternative from Altra but the Olympus 5 Trail might well suit your needs better. Why does the mid version of the Olympus Hike come up smaller? That's really a question for Altra but I would think it likely that the last is slightly different and that will be the reason.
Hi Adrian, thanks for answer. Well, I have had many Gore-Tex shoes and never experienced that. Actually that should be the magic of gore-tex, it shoudl be water resist from inside and breathable form outside. Might be also, that the rubber tip gets very cold and the wet condeses there. Maybe the Lone-peak 6 could work, I will try them. Thanks for the answer;)
