I’ve always been a huge North Face fan, but this product has left me very disappointed and questioning my trust in the brand. My feet got wet within the first minute — the waterproofing simply doesn’t work. Another major issue is the laces: normally you can tie them and tuck the ends inside near the ankle so they don’t hit or flap around, but with these shoes it’s painful or impossible to do so. This causes constant discomfort while walking. For a brand I’ve trusted for years, this is a big letdown. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone looking for reliable and comfortable hiking footwear.
