This is what other customers say:
It's a nicely designed shoe, pity about the clasp they're made of cheap plastic. One tug too hard of the straps and they're broken. Would have been great if the clasp didn't break so easy.

Unfortunately, the plastic part of the tension strap that holds the shoe onto the heel broke after less than a month, rendering them unwearable.

It broke the day after arriving when the plastic clasp broke on one shoe.
It's a very thin & flimsy piece of plastic for holding the whole shoe together.

I own a Stoic fleece top which I find excellent in quality and craftsmanship, so when I saw these on sale I thought I was buying a top quality product. To my dismay, when I took them out of the box they screamed, Cheap.
The material around the ankle is stiff and after a lot of wear are still stiff and noticeable on the ankles. I have read bad reviews about the strap breaking at the back, but I was persuaded to buy due to this company's exceptional returns policy, so I knew if it snapped I would get a refund. To my annoyance, the strap on the right shoe keeps coming loose after about a kilometre and needs constant adjusting.
I have slim feet and these shoes would suit a wide foot, the lace is pulled tight to the max and still my feet are loose inside. The brands that fit my feet perfect are,
Salewa hiking and approach shoes and Saucony Endorphin 4 running shoes.
To compare these shoes with a pair I bought of SHEIN, I only paid 25 euro and the sole is thicker and more comfortable. It has Velcro around your Achilles so it never slips, and it has neoprene around the ankle so you do not feel the pinch of the material. I wear these (SHIEN) shoes without socks, and they are so comfy, I bought a second pair for when the first wears out.
I have to wear thick socks with these Stoic shoes and still, they are uncomfortable.
How does a company produce such great quality tops, let these slip through quality control. It has made me weary of purchasing any Stoic products in the future.
