For 45% discount its super price.. Only on lower temperatures i recomended foam matt on top to increase insulation..
For slippery I'll use sanitary silicone and make some dots on the pad.

31.03.2024Cracks in the seams!
sleeping was very comfortable, but unfortunately this mattress lasted me only 3 trips, it cracked in the seams! Which I take as a manufacturing defect, this should not happen.
For a few days, I had to sleep on the ground only in a sleeping bag because I was high in the mountains. Believe me, that I was very pissed off!
My weight is 82 kg, which I don't think had a big influence on the cracking of the mattress.

no the mat is not self inflating, it needs to be blown up, there is a pump bag available for that purpose:

I have this pad and like it. I am wondering what the best way of deflating is. There is only one valve and I have to keep it pushed in to deflate. Is there a better way?
Hi Charlotte,
no, unfortunately there is no other way of deflating the mat. What I like to do is fold the mat in half, once a little air is out of it, the you can reach the valve more easily.

Does it exist other manufacturer pump bag which is compatible with Stoic sleeping pad, and does anyone tested? Maybe some suggestions what to buy
Hi Darko, it's a non-standard valve unfortunately so there aren't alternatives. My apologies!

Hi Cian, The Stoic sleeping mats aren't tested for R-Value but this one is aimed to be c.a. 2.5-3 :-) I've used it down to -5 and found it good in those temperatures. Hope this helps!
