This is what other customers say:
I've been using them for a year now and this pair of shoes is the best pair that have ever tried before. Great Scarpa product, so comfortable and robust for a rocky terrain.

Hiking
I purchased these boots for a long trekking in Mongolia this fall. I tried them last weekend over a full day hiking in low altitude mountains (2,000 meters on the peak) and they were amazing. Very light, supportive, and with amazing traction. Sole is quite stiff (enough to use classic crampons on them, but not automatic or semiautomatic). For backpacking they are too stiff though, I would choose something with a more flexible sole and with more interior padding like Asolo or Lowe, but for rocky terrain, and scrambling they are fantastic. After a long, strenuous 9 hours hiking on trails, rocky terrain (muddy and snowy sometimes), they performed reasonably well in terms of comfort out of the box. Just use some moleskin to protect your heels from developing blisters, and they are just fine. I hope after a couple of uses they will soften enough in the sensitive areas. My regular size for shoes is 44 (European) and the boots are the same size and they fit very snug (not to loose, not too tight, some millimeters in the toes box). Highly recommended.

Will these boots be suitable for a 3-day hike in the Tatra Mountains? Some reviews mention that the sole is too hard. Maybe SALEWA MTN Trainer Mid GTX or Millet G TREK 4 GTX would be more suitable?
Hi Armands, The sole unit used here by Scarpa will offer very similar performance to that of the others you have mentioned and as a boot for the terrain / paths in the Tatra's these will be ideal.
For a foot length of 275 mm, which will be the best EU size 43.5 or 44? The difference between these two sizes is only 2 mm, but which would be safer to choose? I wear size 44 in Salamon and Meindl.
Hi Armand, I would for sure suggest 44, especially because of the size you wear in both Meindl and Salomon.
What kind of crampons can it fit, if any?
And weight on your website says about 1kg. is it per pair or per boots? On scarpa's official website says 545g ( size 42).
Thanks
Hi Martin, This is not a crampon combatible boot. Weight is 545g per shoe or 1090g for the pair. it might be worth you contacting us via email and via the following link https://www.bergfreunde.eu/contact/ so we can help find the right boot for you.

I’ve worn these for over 200 miles now and they are brilliant. Nice and light, fantastic grip and for me, a comfortable fit straight out of the box for my long narrow feet. In fact, the comfort gets even better with age as the boots start to shape with your feet. I’ve worn them over all sorts of terrain and they provide excellent support and stability. I’d but another pair without hesitation.

Very light and good boot. The stretchy tongue means it even accommodates my large feet. Find these fit like my old La Sportiva but slightly wider. The lacing and tongue means they will probably support quite a wide range of foot.
