Platypus - GravityWorks 4.0L Water Filter - Water filter tested

This told to be fast - haven't tried finally as I was shocked by the size. It takes approximately a 25x15x5 square to store, it weighs 365g actually with the mesh and accessories - for me: MSR Guardian is just marginally larger and heavier for the additional virus protection, although more pricey. Alternatively a Sawyer is small and good but... slow to filter. But filters much better. This one only meets the EPA standards: bacteria 99.9999 (6 log) + protozoa 99.9 (3 log). Still this can be great if water can be trusted and high speed is required.
