Looking for a dedicated ski touring jacket to replace my all around Patagonia Triolet and to be matched with the PowSlayer Bibs. Any thoughts?

Hi Orestis, This jacket is slightly lighter than the Powslayer probably because of the lack of a detachable snowskirt. It also lacks the sleeve pocket. The material has a lower hydrostatic head and will not be quite a breathable as the Powslayer but all this does not mean it's a bad jacket. Basically, it's the Powslayer on a budget.
Thanks for the response Adrian! Very helpful. I thought that H2NO was more breathable than GORE-TEX but less waterproof. Also should someone size up for the Stormstride in order to layer beneath it or no?
Best to stick with your usual size. There's no need to size up.
