I was on a 6 day backpacking expedition in the Swedish wilderness. Did not experience any negative temperatures. At times I could feel the warmth of the mattress against my body. I did have trouble finding flat surfaces so l did slide off the mattress when the terraine was sloped, l wish something could be done to adress this issue, l used my nemo on top of a yoga mat for extra protection but did not feel any discomfort when having to endure elavated tree roots. This mattress has an excellent release valve in order to adjust the air when over inflated. I am a side sleeper so this mattress served its purpose very well.
