The R-value is stated here as 1.9 but elsewhere online, it's also stated as 4.4 - which is correct? I should add that when I filter out sleeping mats with R-rating over 3 on this website, this shows up as one result.

Similar to EN/ISO ratings for sleeping bags, the ASTM R-value standard ensures an “apples-to-apples” comparison of R-value for the sleeping pad market. R-value is a measure of a material or structure’s thermal resistance to heat loss. In this case, the structure is your sleeping pad. The higher the R-value, the more thermally resistant the material or structure is. This number gives a definitive rating for customers to compare the warmth of various pads. Thereby, allowing them to find the right sleeping pad for their needs. The problem is , not all manufactures have conformed to the new standards like Klymit and Thermarest have and some manufactures do not have their mattresses tested at all. We can only state the information made available to us.
