terrible on wet surfaces
Lots of cushion, wide base (good for bad ankles) and comfortable. They are absolutely horrific on wet rock though. Be careful with these. The mafate's were amazing and I assumed these soles would be the same, but they skate off wet rock and will dump you on your backside if you're not extremely careful. I will use them in dry conditions only in the mountains.

Good grip on wet stone and dirt. Not great for mud. Tall and wide, good for running downhill. Good foot stabilization. More of a winter, colder weather shoe.
