Already own 3 Helinox chairs and now considering of purchasing another to use indoors.
Used it on camping trips, beach and trekking and it is just great. Lightweight, quick to assemble (my 11 yr old daughter can do it on her own) and just sooo comfortable to sit in. Totally recommend the product.
I've used mine for four years all over Europe. I am a 1.8m 90kg motorcyclist camper who spent years perched on camping stools until I bought the One. The key issue for me with all gear is weight and packsize.
Pros are that it assembles in seconds, is
surprisingly comfortable, and easily stores away without dis-assembly into the vestibule of my two person tunnel tent. It also has a small, tidy carry bag with assembly instructions sewn in. It's amazingly small and light when packed away.
Cons include a tendency for the legs to sink into very wet soil, but the angle of the legs halts this after a few cm's.
The chair itself is brilliant however a web search will show the one flaw, that the feet come off and can be lost in mud.
This will be a common occurrence for most people, yet Helinox do not supply or sell spares. They do market ball feet, but not in the UK, and their US sellers won't shop to UK.
There are of course work rounds but premium products deserve premium support and Helinox doesn't provide it.
