After a few weeks of use I can definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an everyday casual outdoors jacket for temps close to freezing.
The fit is perfect, plenty of movement in the arms due to construction and thinner insulation than the body. The hood is large enough and very warm. The jacket can fit a couple of mid layers under it with no problems. All 8 pockets are perfectly laid out and very usable, however I still miss an internal pocket for a phone, to keep it from the freezing cold.
Too early to tell on how waterproof it is, but it certainly stood up well to a mild winter rain and dried farily quickly.
