The RDS-certified grey goose down fill provides the best possible warmth-to-weight ratio. The outer shell is made from Cover Cloth, a lightweight cotton fabric that has been thoroughly coated with a special wax blend to ensure maximum water resistance. Shelter Cloth, a slightly heavier, oil-waxed fabric that provides additional durability, is used in the pockets and lower back. The collar is lined with merino wool to keep your neck warm even when snow blows under your beanie. The lining is made from ripstop nylon, which is so light that you hardly feel it. All in all, the Down Cruiser Vest offers a level of warmth, comfort and weather protection that you would otherwise only find in much heavier jackets!
