Synmat Technology sleeping mat for extreme temperatures

The Versa 5R sleeping mat from Exped boasts convincing properties for camping and trekking in winter: it’s recommended for temperatures down to -20°C; is 9 cm thick when inflated; plus, it’s insulated with 200 g/m² Texpedloft. This sleeping mat achieves an R value of 5.2 and weighs just 830 g in size M, making it perfect for winter tours.

Winter sleeping mat with integrated hand pump

To inflate the Versa 5R sleeping mat particularly efficiently, Exped has equipped it with a powerful hand pump. In combination with the proven Flatvalve valve, the mat is quickly inflated and deflated again. This eliminates the need for cumbersome inflation and moisture caused by breathing air into the mat.

In addition, the Exped sleeping mat has a rectangular cut and is equipped with longitudinal air chambers with Synmat Technology. Thanks to the shapes of these chambers, the mat is both very comfortable and ensures that sleepers won’t slip off the mat.
