At the same time, it offers reliable protection from the elements, it’s very sturdy and boasts top-quality materials as well as first-class workmanship.

Weatherproof with a hydrostatic head of 8000 mm and robust aluminium poles

Tatonka has designed this durable tent using 68D polyester 210T PU and 70D nylon ripstop 190T WR. Thanks to its sealed seams, the tent can withstand a hydrostatic head of 8000 mm. This is not only extremely high for a tent, but also practically guarantees a permanently dry interior, even in heavy rain and constant wet weather. With a hydrostatic head of 10000 mm, the sturdy tent floor made from 70D nylon taffeta 190T PU complements the properties of the rest of the Alaska 3 DLX 3-person tent. A groundsheet cut to size is available from Tatonka as an extra accessory and is recommended for stony ground and particularly wet floors.

In addition, the tunnel construction is supported by anodised aluminium tent poles made from 7001 T6 aluminium with a thickness of 11 mm. The tent is equipped with three entrances and offers a comfortable amount of space for three people in the sleeping area. Practical details, such as the four panel pockets in the inner tent, reflectors on the guy lines and a clothesline inside the inner tent make this tent your ideal base camp for touring, trekking and camping. Plus, a large vestibule offers plenty of space for all your luggage. Practical packing aids for the guy ropes and separate packing bags for the tent and poles skilfully round off the ingenious tent construction.
