I bought these socks for everyday use. I live in a city and walk a lot, and they are perfect. They have held up well so far (over a year). They are very comfortable, stay in place, and are nice to look at. They are not my warmest wool socks, which I find to be perfect, because I can wear them on milder days but still keep my feet comfortable.
