thermometer part is almost useless

First it has a very rough scale with 5 Celsius degree steps but the main issue is that you try to read a reddish marker with black background - almost impossible to see even in bright sunny light conditions. Without the thermometer you can have a much better (lighter/more compact) compass from the same brand what works great.
