This is my second filter to buy have been using one hiking and camping for the last 2 years, this is one for the office! I use it with a filter paper as I find the metal straining insert difficult to reinsert after you take it out to clean.

It works but two negative points:
Filter needs to be removed to fold cup back to packing size
Also, works better on small cups, base can fold and fall into wider cups when hot

really good, I use it for travelling, good coffee without paper filter. I have one 5 years and still works fine
