Group tent with space for six people
The Klondike group tent from Robens is so large that six people can sleep comfortably in it and almost everyone can stand in it. It is perfect for warm climates thanks to its breathable material made from a blend of cotton and polyester. Plus, the HydroTex Polycotton outer fabric minimises condensation, ensures a pleasant indoor climate and protects against rain. In addition, the tent features protective all-round eaves that prevent rain from running in through the windows or doors.
Despite its size, the tent can be pitched quickly due to its central pole design. The windows on the sides with mosquito nets and zip fasteners for darkening are important elements of the ventilation system, which airs out the entire tent via the Internal Apex Vent Control. These ventilation hatches can also be opened and closed from the inside at the highest point of the tent. Aluminium poles with a long central pole in the middle of the tent, in combination with the cleverly attached guy lines and reinforced guy points, ensure that this tent is extremely stable. It has even tested in a wind tunnel, where it withstood wind speeds of up to 168 km/h!
Removable groundsheet
The groundsheet made from robust Oxford polyester is removable, which is practical when cleaning and drying the floor. The pre-installed stove pipe port in the roof allows you to use a classic Yukon stove in cold weather. Rolling away the groundsheet provides a safe base for the stove. Meanwhile, if you don't need a stove, this groundsheet-free space is ideal for dirty boots or dripping wet clothing.
