The TRAVERSE 40 can be opened up completely using the circumferential front zipper, providing a good overview of the equipment inside.

Good comfortable pack

Carries everything I want - Hilleberg Niak, duck down sleeping bag, inflatable mat, trangia, fuel, food, water, waterproofs, spare clothes and shoes, first aid, and a small bag for sketching/painting - holds enough to keep me going for a week. Comfortable carry and easy to access kit via the zip front. The pocket on the bottom seems a bit superflouous; but some may find it helpful. I can roll up a small pack and stash it under the hood to use for short runs/walks from camp.
