Hardshell plus down in an ultralight way
High mountains or the far north: the Women's Lodur down jacket from Nordisk is up for any adventure! With its excellent features, it’s an excellent choice for winter trips. It feels like a lightweight, delicate and soft down duvet,, but is neither as fragile nor vulnerable in any way. Instead, it can withstand the pressure of a 20-metre column of water, as well as the strongest gusts of wind and mechanical stress in tough outdoor use. One would think that these features mean the Women's Lodur isn’t breathable, but actually it’s the most breathable jacket that Nordisk has ever produced. So, not only will you stay warm and dry from the outside, but also on the inside.
New opportunities through creative innovation
A revolutionary solution such as the NorTech 0.5 membrane from Toray is needed to meet these almost incompatible requirements. At an incredible five microns in diameter, this is the thinnest, lightest and most breathable waterproofing ever developed. The outer material connected to it, which is also ultra-light and comes from Toray, is aptly called Next to Nothing and is a tear-resistant ripstop nylon.
The water-repellent European white goose down fill, which is as comfortable as it is functional, is also part of this range. It also contributes to the incredibly low total weight of the Lodur jacket of less than 250 grams in size M!
