My wife loves these boots. They fit her like slippers while providing the support of a much heavier boot. It took her 3 attempts to find her size as Mammut sizing seems different to the other brands she wears (Meindl and Merrell). Yes it seems she only wears hiking shoes that begin with the letter "M". The finish of the boot is very nice and it appears to offer good protection for hill walking and trekking. It is a narrow boot, however, so it may not work for everyone.
The sole even has a metal shank which is amazing considering it still has some flexibility but it is very stable. These boots are unlikely to be as durable as a heavy leather trekking boot but they're holding up surprisingly well after about 100 miles of hill walking so we'll wait to see. Very impressed so far!
