These waterproof and windproof boots are comprehensively insulated, with an insulating carbon insole, elastic sock construction and Aluminia Insulation, they keep your feet reliably warm even in icy conditions.

Plus, the Ascension Expedition Litebase sole from Vibram offers excellent grip on rock, scree and snow even without crampons. However, in combination with the crampons, the boots transform into a grippy unit that are perfectly capable of handling vertical ice surfaces. On the liner boots, a Boa twist lock closure alongside a two-zone lacing system ensures easy operation and a precise fit, allowing the Mammut boots to fit absolutely perfectly, without slipping or pinching.
