Great baskets

I have used these for one winter season. They are easy to fit, flexible and have a nice broad coverage for snow. The bright green/black colour is excellent...easy to spot!

Hi KYRIAKI,

The Makalu FT is not a model which is familiar. I think perhaps you have made a typing error but provided your poles use the Leki Flex Tip , these baskets will fit.

Suitable for sand ?

Hi Eamon,

These are designed for ski touring but they will definitely be an of advantage in sand especially over a standard trekking basket.

Does the job

These much wider replacement baskets for my Leki Ski Touring/Walking Poles do exactly what they are supposed to. The width of the basket 'head' means the penetration of the poles into fresh snow off piste is limited to 1-2" under normal circumstances#/loading.
