This is what other customers say:
This is my third pair of La Sportiva, and a different model again. Previously had the leather TX5 GTX, which were a bit more robust , slightly heavier but tough . Wore them on multi day treks in Scotland and Sweden. Only issues I found was the sole is not replaceable so although the uppers are still in good shape the heels are warn, the other is that although truly water proof the leather remains wet for some time and so you get cold feet.
So am hoping that these Aequilibrium Hike GTX will solve these 2 issues as they have synthetic uppers so will and do dry much faster and have replaceable soles. Have already used them in the Lake District UK and really impressed so far. Performance, water proofing, grip and comfort all good.
