This is what other customers say:
Sit a bit like a skirt, lol. I think it might be something with the direction the material is cut. Will fit larger thighs nicer, I think.

These are like a cross between boy shorts and bikini pants. The hip fit is good (I chose a Medium based on the size chart and it was accurate) and the front is exactly what I wanted. The back does not have enough coverage and has a tendency to ride up.
I bought these looking for underwear for hiking and camping and these don't make the grade. I wore them for a day at work (on my feet all day apart from 30 mins for lunch) and I had to keep adjusting them (worn under a dress). I definitely wouldn't wear them under shorts or snug trousers. It was a very hot and humid day and they did keep me cool and dry (my dress was also a Merino blend).
I washed them in the sink last night to test how quickly they dry overnight without applied heat. They were better than cotton, but not as good as other Merino blends, considering it was a very warm night (around 20 deg Celsius). They were damp rather than wet but would not be comfortable to wear without longer drying time.
Overall, these would be fine for casual wear without strenuous activity, but I wouldn't recommend them for travel / camping / hiking
