I will start off by saying I am already a huge Hanwag fan, they make the highest quality boots, Ive owned quite a few pairs and currently have 3 pairs in my rotation. The Tatra Lights have been a long time coming, a lighterweight version of the classic Tatras which are my favourite boot ever. I have yeti feet - uk size 13 but you would never know from the weight of these fine boots. so far they are holding up as expected. I am over the moon with them!

Hey Mark,
generally yes, but no more or less so than many other models. I hope you understand that we cannot give detailed medical advice.
Best regards,
Max
I‘m not asking you to give medical advice, so put yourself in perspective. Your answer only tells me your boot is unsuitable
Plantar fasciitis is a highly individual condition, with symptoms, causes, and treatment responses varying significantly from person to person. It is characterized as a chronic, often progressive overuse injury that causes pain in the heel or arch of the foot, most commonly felt upon walking. Basically , we can only generalise and while the Tatra Light is reasonably well cushioned and a great light weight boot for UK hillwalking but for your condition I suspect you are looking for a boot which offers excellent cushioning at the heel and plently of support for the arch. That being the case I would suggest the Hoka Kaha 3 GTX as a better alternative. Note however , these , while ideal for light hiking , I would say are too flexible for UK hillwalking / mountain use.
