Reviews overview
Disadvantages
Praise vs. Criticism
Excellent quality, but bizarre logo placement
This shirt is excellent quality. I bought two for my father.
The only issue is either minor or annoying, depending on who you are. Because of the placement of the logo on the left collar-bone, half a logo sticks out from your collar if you wear an open-neck shirt, such as a polo shirt, or in my case right now, a partly unzipped Arc’teryx Atom Hoody.
Most people won’t care, but others may not want a distracting half-logo so close to their face.
To be fair to Devold, it was in the promo pictures. And in theory, I shouldn’t have bought it if I didn’t like it. But I was busy and it didn’t register as a problem. And who on earth puts a logo there anyway? Clearly, only one company.
Otherwise a great shirt. I would love to recommend it, but just can’t.
- Advantages
- Stores body heat
- Robust
- Price / performance
- Disadvantages
- Badly positioned logo
- Recommended use
- Camping
- Winter hiking
- Police stakeouts
- Astrophotography
- Press photography
