30.09.2022Wonderful shoe
I bought these shoes a few months ago and have used it mostly in the gym whilst bouldering, but also whilst sport climbing. These shoes took a week or so to break in, but fit like a glove on my feet and feel like a sock. I've gone 1 size down from my street shoes, and quite honestly, I don't feel like I needed to go any lower. In fact, I wonder if going 1/2 a size down would've sufficed.
Pros: Incredibly comfortable once broken in and the more I use them, the more sensitive they start to feel, which, for me at least, makes climbing in them an absolute joy. They're pretty decent at edging too. Heel hooks and toe-hooks always feel very secure.
Cons: I haven't climbed on rock with these just yet, but I'm not sure I trust the thing strap to not fail if rubbed a lot along sharp rocks. Of course, the chances of this happening for most climbers is pretty minimal, but might be worth noting. I'm also not sure if it's just my technique or if the rubber on this shoe isn't as amazing at smearing as some of the shoes I've tried with the XS Grip/Edge rubber. Don't get me wrong, it's does a pretty good job and it is not far off from those other shoes I mentioned, but sometimes I don't fully trust them when a volume is a bit too steep.
All in all, I'd happily buy this shoe over and over again. Super happy with it.

Got these specifically for their wide fit and squared toebox, they fit perfectly for me based on the sizing chart and comparing to measurements i took of my feet. They also provided me massively improved confidence on smaller footholds and particularly in smearing (up until owning them i was using fairly dated club shoes).
However, i have owned these shoes for 11months now and they did end up forming a hole in front of my big toe on the left shoe (At most i go bouldering twice weekly, but took a hiatus over the summer months). I don't seem to be alone in this, as i've seen other users of the same shoe with holes on the front of theirs. Perhaps I am just expecting climbing shoes to last too long, they are subject to a lot of abuse after all.

Don't downsize too much or the shoe won't be soft and confortable as it should be.
Grip is excellent, they are very soft but don't stretch a lot. Heel is very baggy, check the LV version if your heel is average size. Toe box very round.

The shoe was great on toes and smearing aswell as standing on volumes felt very good! But the heel is massive at least for my feet! Loads of space making it hard to heel hook comfortably but other than that a good shoe for beginners to intermediate.
