i use it as all around pot, enough big to boil some extra water.Msr 226 g gas canister fits, but lid becomes clumsy. In general lid is tight. But to carry the pot closed I had to get a mesh sack since any movement in backpack was separating the lid from pot. Quality is great, I really would recommend this product.
